Job summary

Trafalgar House in Greater London is seeking a Pension Payroll Administrator to manage the end-to-end pensioner payroll cycle for our clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will handle setup and ceasing of pensions, changes to pension amounts, and payment instructions, while delivering a reliable service.

You will work with the Service Delivery Team to meet deadlines, maintain records, and stay current with ISO 27001 standards and HMRC requirements.

Qualifications

• Good experience and understanding of pensioner payroll practices.
• Computer literate and experience using pension administration systems.
• Expertise in one or more of the team’s functional area.
• A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to the work.
• Strong working relationships with colleagues.
• Qualified or studying towards a recognised pensioner payroll qualification.
• Experience of implementing new clients.

Responsibilities

• Run the full payroll cycle for monthly and daily (DC) payrolls; liaise with HMRC for PAYE deductions and statutory requirements.
• Set up and ceasing of pensions in payment; process changes to pension amounts and payment instructions.
• Provide timely, reliable, accurate day-to-day service to all customers.
• Maintain full and accurate administration records; ensure accuracy of written and verbal communications.
• Keep ISO 27001 policies up to date and followed.
• Participate in annual P60 and Pension Increases exercises and ad hoc projects.
• Stay up to date with industry changes affecting pensioner payroll.
