Job summary

A respected organization is seeking an experienced end point assessor for Hospitality apprenticeships, focusing on Front of House standards. The role allows for flexible workdays, with training provided. This home-based position includes travel, with a possibility of extension or becoming permanent based on performance. Ideal candidates will hold relevant assessor qualifications and possess significant industry experience.

Qualifications

• Assessor qualified in Hospitality standards.
• Experience in end point assessments for level 2 and 3.
• Knowledge of Front of House practices is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Conduct end point assessments for apprenticeship standards in Hospitality.
• Plan meetings and agree schedules with apprentices and employers.
• Complete write-ups and report assessments.

Can reside anywhere South of England from the Midlands down

Job role

Carrying out end point assessment activities and making decisions for apprenticeship standards for Front of House Hospitality level 2 and 3 for learners in Hotels such as Admin, Reception, Events, Conferences, Housekeeping

If covered food and beverage, an advantage but not essential

Must end point assessing experience for Hospitality at level 2 or 3

Must have either worked in an EPA role or have previously been an EPA delivering end point assessments for an awarding body.

Carrying out assessments with the learners

The appointments will be scheduled for you

Planning meetings with apprentices and employers online

Agreeing a plan and schedule for each assessment activity for the end point window

Write ups and report assessments

Essential requirements for the role

Must be Assessor qualified – such as TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/D33

Must have own equipment, using own laptop and set up an email address.

Ideally DBS in place and on the update service.
