Job summary

A leading company is seeking an Assessor for end point assessment activities in Front of House Hospitality at levels 2 and 3. This home-based role involves conducting assessments, planning meetings with learners, and writing reports. Ideal candidates will have relevant qualifications and assessing experience to ensure apprenticeship standards are met.

Qualifications

  • Must have assessing experience in Hospitality at levels 2 or 3.
  • Experience in food and beverage assessment is an advantage.
  • DBS clearance ideally in place and registered on the update service.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct end point assessments for Front of House Hospitality.
  • Plan assessments with learners and employers.
  • Write reports and assessments.

Role Details
  • Induction and training will be provided remotely.
  • This is a home-based role with some travel, mileage paid.
  • The contract runs until the end of July 2025, with potential for extension or permanence due to ongoing work.
  • Working days are Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work 3, 4, or 5 days per week depending on your availability.
  • Working hours are from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm or 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with some flexibility.
  • Location: Reside anywhere south of England, from the Midlands downward.
Job Role

Carrying out end point assessment activities and making decisions for apprenticeship standards in Front of House Hospitality at levels 2 and 3, including roles such as Admin, Reception, Events, Conferences, and Housekeeping in hotels.

Experience in assessing food and beverage is an advantage but not essential.

Requirements

  • Must have end point assessing experience in Hospitality at levels 2 or 3.
  • Must have worked in an EPA role or have previously delivered end point assessments for an awarding body.
  • Carrying out assessments with learners.
  • Appointments will be scheduled for you.
  • Planning meetings with apprentices and employers online.
  • Agreeing on plans and schedules for assessment activities within the end point window.
  • Writing reports and assessments.
Essential Requirements
  • Must be assessor qualified, such as TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/D33.
  • Must have own equipment, including a laptop and email setup.
  • Ideally, DBS clearance in place and registered on the update service.
