Job summary

A leading company in the hospitality sector is seeking an Endpoint Assessor to oversee apprenticeship assessments in Front of House Hospitality roles. This home-based position with flexible working days includes responsibilities such as planning meetings, conducting assessments, and writing reports. Ideal candidates will be qualified assessors with relevant experience in hospitality assessments.

Qualifications

  • Must be assessor qualified (e.g., TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/D33).
  • Must have end point assessing experience for Hospitality at levels 2 or 3.
  • Experience in assessing food and beverage is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out end point assessment activities for Front of House Hospitality.
  • Planning meetings with apprentices and employers online.
  • Writing reports and assessments.

Job description

Possibility of extension or becoming permanent due to ongoing work

Monday to Friday

Seeking someone who can work 3, 4, or 5 days per week depending on your availability

Working hours: 8:30 am to 5 pm or 9 am to 5 pm, with some flexibility

Location: Reside anywhere south of England from the Midlands down

Job Role
  • Carrying out end point assessment activities and making decisions for apprenticeship standards in Front of House Hospitality levels 2 and 3 for learners in hotels, including roles such as Admin, Reception, Events, Conferences, and Housekeeping
  • Experience in assessing food and beverage is advantageous but not essential
  • Must have end point assessing experience for Hospitality at levels 2 or 3
  • Must have previously worked in an EPA role or delivered end point assessments for an awarding body
  • Carrying out assessments with learners
  • Appointments will be scheduled for you
  • Planning meetings with apprentices and employers online
  • Agreeing on a plan and schedule for each assessment activity within the end point window
  • Writing reports and assessments
Essential Requirements
  • Must be Assessor qualified (e.g., TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/D33)
  • Must have own equipment, including a laptop and email setup
  • Ideally, DBS check in place and on the update service
