Job summary

Shaftesbury Northfields is recruiting an Enabling Support Worker to provide compassionate, person-centred support and to follow the individual’s support plan. You will help people live independently and engage with local communities, while keeping accurate records and sometimes administering personal care and medication.

Sleep-in shifts may be required, with an additional £60 per sleep-in. Shaftesbury offers a supportive environment focused on inclusion, flexibility and professional development.

Qualifications

• Provide support and encouragement following a person-centred support plan.
• Maintain accurate records in line with service requirements.
• May administer personal care and medication.

Responsibilities

• Cover sleep-in sessions when required (adds £60 per sleep-in).
• Support people across disability services to live independently and engage with the community.
• Promote inclusion, wellbeing and a client-driven approach to care.
