Job summary

Shaftesbury is seeking an Enabling Support Worker to provide compassionate, person-centred support within our disability services. You will work to enable residents to lead fuller, more independent lives, following individual care plans and maintaining accurate records.

The role includes personal care, medication administration where needed, and occasional sleep-in shifts with an extra £60 per shift. We offer robust training and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Provide support and encouragement by taking direction from the person supported and the person centred support plan.
• Maintain accurate records in line with service requirements.
• Administer personal care and medication as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide enabling support to residents to enhance inclusion and wellbeing.
• Work within a team to support daily living activities and mobility.
• Cover sleep-in sessions as required (additional £60 per sleep-in).
