Job summary

Shaftesbury is recruiting for an Enabling Support Worker at The Shaftesbury Treetops residential service in Colchester. You will provide support and encouragement, taking direction from the person supported and the person-centred support plan.

You will maintain accurate records, may administer personal care and medication, and cover sleep-in sessions (with an additional £60 per sleep in). Shaftesbury is a disability charity committed to enabling people to live fulfilling lives.

About The Role

As an Enabling Support Worker it will be your role to provide support and encouragement, by taking direction from both the person supported and the person centred support plan.

You will be required to maintain accurate records while at work, in line with the service requirements. You may also be required to administer personal care and medication.

There will be a requirement to cover sleep in sessions. You will be paid an additional £60 per sleep in.

Treetops is a high-dependency, residential care home providing 24-hour nursing and personal care foradults with disabilities, most of whom are younger.
