Job summary

TechPoint is seeking a Stores Manager to lead the efficient, accurate, and compliant management of materials across the stores function. You will oversee goods-in, storage, kitting, despatch, and reporting to support EMS manufacturing operations in the UK.

You will manage stock accuracy, implement best practices for traceability, and lead a team to meet production schedules while ensuring health and safety standards. Experience in EMS or electronics is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Stores/Warehouse/Despatch management role.
• Strong knowledge of traceability and manufacturing material flows.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems for stock control and despatch.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-development skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock levels of components, PCBs, and consumables with full batch/lot traceability.
• Oversee goods-in, inspection, booking-in, and rejection handling with QA.
• Oversee kitting for SMT/TH production; ensure timely availability for builds.
• Oversee despatch activities; ensure correct documentation for UK/EU/international shipments.
• Manage ERP/MRP system stores activity; generate KPI reports and support continuous improvements.
• Lead and develop the stores team; uphold safety, quality, and compliance.
