Job summary

Connexus is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Response Repairs team covering our housing portfolio in Herefordshire and surrounding areas. You will directly line-manage a team of in-house trades delivering responsive repairs and planned maintenance, ensuring high standards of customer service.

You will coach, mentor and brief the team, ensure induction and training, oversee contractor engagement and quality audits, and uphold Connexus safety policies and procedures.

• Knowledge of current health and safety legislation and best practices.
• This role requires a basic DBS check prior to appointment.

We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Supervisor within the Response Repairs team covering our housing portfolio. This position requires a hard-working individual with good people management skills, excellent communications and a track record of providing an excellent customer experience.

Your main role will include direct line management of a team of in-house trades delivering a range of services across the Repairs and Maintenance Team.

You will provide leadership to the team through effective coaching, mentoring, one to ones and team briefings, ensuring the team members are inducted and adequately trained to fulfil their responsibilities, and are working to policy and procedure. You will also support in the management of contractors and quality audits in these work streams ensuring they are meeting Connexus Standards.

You will need to demonstrate a good knowledge of current health and safety legislation, construction regulation and best practices.

This role will be subject to a basic DBS Check.
