Job summary

CareTech is hiring a Support Worker in Solihull, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. The role offers 36 hours per week on a rota basis, with shifts including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.

Full training and induction are provided, with opportunities for career progression. We value caring, patient and respectful individuals who can work independently or as part of a team, with good communication and basic IT/written abilities.

Qualifications

• Caring, patient and respectful approach with a positive, resilient mindset.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with good communication and written skills.
• Willingness to progress to Level 2 Health & Social Care and complete necessary training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support according to individual plans.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care when required.
• Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing for service users.
• Support activities, appointments and community access.
• Maintain accurate records and collaborate within a team.
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins.
