Job summary

CareTech is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our service in Nuneaton, supporting adults with learning disabilities, complex needs, autism, and mental health needs. This permanent, full-time role involves a 37.5-hour week on a rota and offers training and career progression opportunities.

We value compassionate, patient, and reliable individuals who can work independently and within a team, with good communication and basic IT skills.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards Level 2 in Health and Social Care
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech)

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing
• Support activities, appointments, and community access
• Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins
