Job summary

Midway Care Group in Solihull is recruiting for a Support Worker to provide person-centred support across services.

You will help people develop daily living skills, meet needs, build relationships, encourage choices, and participate in care plans. Training and development opportunities are offered; there is a focus on dignity and independence. Induction in Acocks Green, travel expensed, and ongoing support provided.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for or working with a vulnerable adult.
• Desire to work with people and make a positive difference.
• Willingness to work across weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support people in developing and maintaining daily living skills.
• Identify and meet the needs of those we care for.
• Develop and maintain relationships with people, team members and the local community.
• Encourage choices in line with the rights of people with a Learning Disability.
• Participate in and assist with defined care plans to promote independence.
