Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant for a school in the Vale of Glamorgan. The role supports learners with ALN/SEMH across all Key Stages, assisting with diverse activities to promote engagement and development.

Ideal candidates have care/support background. DBS checks or willingness to obtain one, and EWC registration are required. The role offers a competitive daily rate with weekly PAYE and immediate start opportunities.

Qualifications

• Aged 19 and over.
• C or above in Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
• Care / Support Worker Background.
• DBS for Child and Adult on the Update Service or willing to obtain one.
• EWC registered.

Responsibilities

• Support across all Key Stages in a SEND school.
• Assist with a wide range of curriculum activities and hands‑on experiences.
• Provide consistent support while challenging learners to foster progress and development.
