About the role
Connex Education is partnering with a SEND school in Cardiff to recruit dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistants. While direct experience in special educational needs is not essential, a strong understanding of learners with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and/or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges is highly advantageous. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in mainstream education or those who have experience in care or support roles. This role is to start immediately if you have the correct documentation. Longterm roles and day to day positions available.

Assignment details
As a Teaching Assistant in a SEND school, we’re seeking adaptable individuals who are confident working across all Key Stages. You should be enthusiastic about supporting a wide range of curriculum activities and encouraging pupils to engage in enriching, hands-on experiences. The ideal candidate will provide consistent support while also challenging learners appropriately to foster meaningful progress and personal development.
