Job summary

Connex Education is partnering with a SEND school in Llanelli to recruit dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistants. While direct experience in special educational needs is not essential, a strong understanding of learners with ALN and SEMH challenges is highly advantageous.

You will support pupils across all Key Stages, encourage engagement in hands-on activities, and contribute to a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• ALN and SEMH understanding is advantageous.
• DBS check or willingness to obtain one is required.
• EWC registration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support learners across Key Stages in a SEND setting.
• Encourage engagement in hands-on, enriching activities.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment and adapt support as needed.
