Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a Teaching Assistant for our partner school in Milton Keynes. The school supports children and young people with SEMH needs, autism spectrum conditions, and other complex learning profiles, delivering a personalised, nurturing, and inclusive educational experience.

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work with teachers and the wider team to support learners inside and outside the classroom, helping deliver tailored learning, build confidence, and encourage positive

Qualifications

Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an SEN or SEMH setting.
Calm, compassionate, and patient approach.
Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with students and staff.
Genuine passion for education and supporting vulnerable learners.
Minimum Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning.

Responsibilities

Supporting students in their learning and development across a range of subjects.
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
Providing 1:1 and small group interventions.
Assisting with planning and delivering engaging, accessible lessons.
Contributing to a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment.
