Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children with SEN/SEMH or complex needs.
  • Ability to work 1:1 and in small groups.
  • Good communication and ability to build relationships with pupils.
  • Safeguarding aware and resilient in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.
  • Support SEMH and complex needs to engage with learning.
  • Help pupils develop social, emotional and communication skills.
  • Promote independence, confidence and self-esteem.
  • Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff.
