Essex Cares Limited is seeking an Older People Support Worker to provide compassionate, person-centred care for older adults, including those with dementia and Parkinson's. You will assist with daily living, mobility, and engaging activities, both on-site and in the community.

The role requires flexible working across Essex, with full induction, ongoing training, DBS and pension benefits, and opportunities for career development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about providing high-quality care to older people.
• Excellent listening and communication skills are essential.
• Empathetic approach with patient and respectful care.
• Willingness to provide personal care as needed.
• Basic IT skills for documentation and scheduling.
• Flexible availability and ability to work on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred activities to maintain independence.
• Support older adults with mobility and daily living tasks.
• Promote social interaction through on-site and community activities.
• Travel across Essex for training and to support multiple centres.
