Job summary

Salutem Care and Education is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in Essex to provide person-centred care to adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. You will support daily activities, promote independence, and work across days, nights and sleep-ins as required.

UK Driving Licence is required for the role.

Responsibilities

Deliver person-centred support to individuals, promoting independence and wellbeing.
Encourage participation in education, employment, volunteering and community activities.
Assist with personal care, mobility, nutrition, continence care and use of equipment.
Monitor health and wellbeing, attend appointments, maintain records.
Administer and manage medication safely per policies and training.
Follow PBS strategies and promote least restrictive practices.
Safeguard individuals and promote rights, dignity and protection from harm.
Complete daily notes, incident reports and health records.
Support budgeting and accessing benefits where appropriate.
Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals and external agencies.
Adhere to policies and quality standards while supporting service improvement.
Participate in training, supervision and flexible shifts including evenings and sleep-ins.
