Job summary

Central Bedfordshire College is seeking a Learning Support Practitioner to join the Foundation Learning & Additional Learning Support team at Dunstable Kingsway Campus. You will provide tailored support to learners with SEND to enable access to learning and progress toward EHCP outcomes.

The role involves monitoring progress, recording evidence, collaborating with teachers and external professionals, and contributing to safeguarding and college standards.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Learning Support and Level 2 English/Maths.
• Experience supporting learners with SEND in educational settings.
• Ability to promote learner independence and set goals.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, tailored SEND learner support across settings.
• Monitor progress, record observations and support EHCP reviews.
• Promote inclusive learning and remove barriers to learning.
• Collaborate with teachers, ALS colleagues, therapists and families.
• Support safeguarding, equality, diversity and college standards.
