Job summary

The Bedford College Group is seeking a Learning Facilitator to join our Foundation Learning & Additional Learning Support team at the Dunstable Campus. You will support students with learning needs, deliver study skills and literacy/numeracy support, and maintain accurate records in a busy education environment.

Commitment to safeguarding, equality and inclusive practice is essential, with Level 3+ qualifications, GCSE English & Maths and experience supporting learners.

Qualifications

• Educated to Level 3 or above with GCSE English and Maths, experience supporting learners with learning difficulties and disabilities, and a strong understanding of safeguarding, equality, and inclusive practice.
• Learning Support & Student Development: deliver study skills, literacy and numeracy support in 1:1 or small groups.
• Administrative & Technical Skills: maintain accurate records, manage documentation, support educational processes.
• Communication & Teamwork: strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills, work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
• Safeguarding & Professional Commitment: safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, ongoing professional development, flexibility across locations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver study skills, literacy and numeracy support 1:1 or small groups.
• Maintain accurate records and manage documentation.
