Job summary

Bridge-It Housing in Leeds is seeking a permanent Housing Support Worker to make a real difference in people’s lives. The role is full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.

You will provide client guidance, access services, and coordinate support with partners, with a person-centred approach and good record-keeping. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential; DBS check required; salary £26,500 per year.

Qualifications

• Experience in support, customer-facing or community roles.
• Able to support people with complex needs with a person-centred approach.
• Experience with homelessness, mental health, or financial hardship issues.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential.

Responsibilities

• Help clients access key services (benefits, health, education, employment, banking).
• Support clients to build confidence, independence and community links.
• Complete sign-ups and maintain accurate records; assist with documents and monitoring.
