Job summary

Esher Sixth Form College is seeking a Learning Mentor within the Additional Learning Needs (ALN) team. You will work directly with students who have a range of needs, providing support inside and outside the classroom to help them access learning and develop study skills.

Based in the ALN Centre, you’ll run study skills sessions, provide one-to-one and small group support, and support during exams as a reader, scribe, or invigilator where required.

• Has the confidence to support students with a wide range of learning, social, emotional and mental health needs.
• Can build strong, supportive relationships with students and colleagues.
• Demonstrates good communication and organisational skills and flexibility.
