Job summary

Esher Sixth Form College is seeking a Learning Mentor to join our Additional Learning Needs team. You will support students both inside and outside the classroom, helping those with learning difficulties and social, emotional and mental health needs to access learning and build confidence.

This fixed-term, term-time-only role is on-site at Thames Ditton. The vacancy is advertised through eTeach UK Limited and aims to commence as soon as possible, with interviews arranged for early October 2026.

• Experience supporting learners with diverse needs in a school setting.
• Ability to work as part of a team within an ALN/Mental Health framework.

Responsibilities

• Support students with a range of needs to access learning inside and outside the classroom.
• Promote confidence and social/emotional development among students.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to monitor progress.
