Job summary

Actis Legal is recruiting for a recently qualified solicitor to join its specialist Employment Team in the North West. The role offers exposure to a broad range of Employment Law work and client contact across large corporates, SMEs and individuals.

You will handle tribunal claims, termination negotiations, and provide training and policy advice while developing expertise across TUPE, restructurings and redundancy instructions.

Qualifications

• Recently qualified solicitor with PQE guidance for technical and client skills.
• Experience in tribunal claims, terminations and employment contracts is valued.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on tribunal claims (discrimination, unfair dismissal, whistleblowing).
• Provide strategic advice to HR managers and draft contracts and policies.
• Assist on TUPE transactions, restructurings and redundancies.

Retained by a diverse range of clients (large corporates, SMEs and individuals) you will be engaged and develop expertise across all areas of Employment Law.

Typical instructions include tribunal claims (discrimination, unfair dismissal and whistleblowing); terminations and exit negotiations; strategic advice and support to HR managers; contract and policy drafting; providing training and advising on employment law changes.

The Employment and Corporate teams work closely together and on TUPE transactions, restructuring and redundancy instructions.
