Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment in Manchester is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join on a hybrid basis. You will cover employment matters end-to-end, including tribunals and settlement advice, while advising HR leaders and boards with practical, solutions-led guidance.

You will mentor juniors, contribute to training and know-how, and engage in business development with marketing support. A strong track record and commercial mindset are essential.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join my clients team in their Manchester offices on a hybrid basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on employment matters end-to-end across contentious and noncontentious streams, including tribunals, settlement agreement advice, restructures and TUPE.
• Be a day-to-day strategic adviser to HR leaders and boards, delivering practical, solutions led advice through our large and growing retainer practice.
• Mentor juniors/trainees and contribute to know-how, training and client updates - within a team that invests in learning.
• Engage in business development with tangible support from our marketing team (thought leadership, rankings and events).

Skills & Experience

• A solid track record of managing your own employment caseload and drafting. Whilst not essential, previous experience of advocacy work would be welcome.
• Confidence in supervising less experienced colleagues and in delegating effectively within a busy team environment.
• A clear, commercial communication style and appetite for client development aligned to our business strategy.
