Job summary

eNL is seeking an Employment Solicitor with 4+ PQE to join its team in Teesside. You will handle a varied caseload, advising employer clients on both contentious and non-contentious matters, and develop client relationships.

The role offers hybrid working, a competitive salary and a supportive team within a Legal 500 regional firm, with opportunities to contribute to the continued growth of the employment practice. You will manage day-to-day issues, TUPE, settlements, and policy drafting.

Qualifications

An established Legal 500 regional law firm is looking to recruit an Employment Solicitor with 4+ years' PQE to join its team in Teesside.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Employment Lawyer to handle a varied caseload, advising employer clients on both contentious and non-contentious matters.

The work will include:

• Advising employer clients on a wide range of day-to-day employment issues.


• Handling Employment Tribunal claims and other contentious matters.


• Advising on disciplinary, grievance and performance management issues.


• Supporting clients with redundancy, restructuring and TUPE.


• Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies and procedures.


• Advising on settlement agreements and restrictive covenants.


• Building strong client relationships and providing clear, commercially focused advice.

What are they looking for?

A solicitor with at least 4 years' PQE and a solid background in employment law. You'll be confident managing your own caseload, comfortable dealing directly with clients and keen to play an active part in the continued development of the team.
