The firm is looking to recruit an experienced Employment Solicitor to join its team on a part-time basis, working three days per week. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor seeking an engaging caseload, strong client relationships and a better work-life balance without compromising on the quality of their work.

The Role

You will advise a varied client base on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, managing your own caseload and delivering practical, commercially minded advice.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Advising employers and employees on a wide range of employment law matters.
• Managing employment disputes, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing and workplace grievances.
• Advising on settlement agreements, redundancies, TUPE and contractual disputes.
• Handling Employment Tribunal claims and proceedings, where appropriate.
• Providing practical advice to employers on HR issues, policies, procedures and risk management.
• Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, settlement agreements and other employment-related documentation.
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent standard of client service.

About You

We are keen to hear from an experienced Employment Solicitor who combines strong technical knowledge with a personable and commercially aware approach.

You will ideally have:

• Qualification as a Solicitor in England and Wales.
• Solid experience in employment law and the ability to manage a varied caseload independently.
• Experience advising employers and/or employees.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly.
• A proactive, organised approach and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
• The ability to build lasting client relationships and contribute positively to a specialist team.
