Job summary

Reed is seeking an Employment Solicitor in Farnborough, Hampshire, for a hybrid role (up to 1 day WFH). 1-3 years PQE and strong employment background are preferred. You will draft contracts, advise on TUPE and mergers, manage disputes, and represent at tribunals where needed.

Responsibilities

• Drafting contracts, agreements, policies, and procedures.
• Advising on employment issues in mergers, acquisitions, contracting out, and TUPE.
• Advising on a full range of employment disputes and issues including tribunal work.
• Preparing Tribunal cases and representing at hearings when required.
• Participating in departmental and firm-wide business development and marketing initiatives.
• Building and developing client relationships.
• Leading projects and supervising junior team members.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Drafting contracts, agreements, policies, and procedures.
• Providing corporate support and advising on all employment-related issues connected with mergers, acquisitions, contracting out, and the effect of TUPE.
• Advising on a full range of employment-related disputes and problems affecting both employers and employees.
• Preparing Tribunal cases and providing representation at hearings, where appropriate.
• Playing an active role in departmental and firm-wide business development and marketing initiatives.
• Responsible for the creation and development of client relationships.
• Working both as part of the team as well as taking the lead on specific projects and activities.
• Supervising more junior team members.
