ENL Legal Recruitment seeks an experienced Employment Solicitor in Manchester. The role involves handling a varied caseload with high-value tribunal claims, and delivering pragmatic commercial advice end-to-end.
Ideal candidate has 5–7 years PQE, a history of managing an individual caseload, and a proven ability to supervise others; advocacy experience is a plus. The firm offers flexible working and clear development paths.
Location: Manchester. Salary: Circa £80,000 (DOE). PQE: 5–7.
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join a rapidly expanding employment team handling matters end-to-end across a range of contentious and noncontentious streams. Acting for a diverse client base, this role involves the delivery of pragmatic commercial advice on a varied caseload including high-value tribunal claims concerning whistleblowing, discrimination and unfair dismissal, senior executive appointments and exits, restrictive covenants, restructures and redundancies and TUPE.
Applications are welcomed from Employment Solicitors possessing 5–7 years PQE, coupled with a solid history of managing an individual employment caseload and drafting. Confidence in supervising less experienced team members and effective delegating within a busy environment is necessary, and previous experience of advocacy work is preferable but not required. The successful candidate will also possess an appetite for client development.
This Legal 500 recognised firm offers the opportunity to involve themselves with a varied, senior caseload whilst working closely within a supportive, flexible working environment commended for its approachable leadership. With flexible working arrangements, mentoring and structured development pathways on offer, this role provides the prospect of genuine career progression within the firm.
