Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment is helping a busy Employment team in Telford recruit an Employment Solicitor or Legal Executive with 2+ years' PQE. You will join a supportive firm environment handling a mix of SME client matters.

In this role you will advise on a broad range of employment issues, draft contracts and policies, and support HR services while managing your own caseload and deadlines with a focus on practical, business-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years PQE in employment law or equivalent
• Experience advising on a broad range of employment matters
• Strong commercial awareness with business-focused advice
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong organisational and file management abilities

Responsibilities

• Advise SME clients on a broad range of employment law matters
• Provide day-to-day employment advice as part of HR support
• Assist with disciplinary, grievance, and performance management issues
• Draft and review employment contracts, policies and procedures
• Advise on dismissals and settlement agreements
• Support clients with disputes and tribunal matters
• Build strong client relationships and understand business needs
• Manage own caseload and meet deadlines
• Maintain high standard of file organization and client service
• Keep up to date with employment legislation and case law
