Job summary

TSR Legal are working with a leading Top 200 law firm in Bristol. An Employment Solicitor with 2+ PQE is sought to join the Employment team based in Bristol, working alongside an award-winning Partner ranked in the Legal 500.

The role focuses on delivering practical employment law advice across owner-managed businesses, SMEs, charities and large listed companies, with opportunities to handle a broad range of issues and build strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years PQE in employment law (experience in employment team).
• Experience handling a broad spectrum of employment matters, contentious or non-contentious.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and cases simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, commercial employment law advice to a diverse client base.
• Advise on restructuring, TUPE, collective consultation, outsourcing/insourcing, business immigration, contracts, disputes, redundancies and settlements.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business needs.
• Stay up to date with changes in employment law and inform clients of developments.

Our client is seeking an Employment Solicitor to join their Employment team based in Bristol. The successful candidate will work alongside an award-winning Partner who is highly ranked in the Legal 500.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide practical, commercial, employment law advice to a diverse client base, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs, charities, and large listed companies.
• Advise on a range of employment issues, such as restructuring, TUPE compliance, collective consultation obligations, outsourcing/insourcing arrangements, business immigration, employment contracts, dispute resolution, redundancies, and settlement agreements.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a thorough understanding of their business needs and objectives.
• Stay up to date with changes in employment law and ensure clients are well-informed of relevant developments.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Solicitor with at least 2years PQE with experience of working within an employment team
• Proven experience in handling a broad spectrum of employment matters, either contentious or non-contentious.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise advice.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clients and cases simultaneously.
