Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment is helping a busy Employment team in Telford recruit an Employment Solicitor or Legal Executive with 2+ years' PQE. You will join a supportive firm environment handling a mix of SME client matters.

In this role you will advise on a broad range of employment issues, draft contracts and policies, and support HR services while managing your own caseload and deadlines with a focus on practical, business-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor or Legal Executive with 2+ years' PQE to join a busy and established Employment team based in Telford.

The Role

• Advising SME clients on a broad range of employment law matters.
• Providing day-to-day employment advice as part of an ongoing HR support service.
• Advising on disciplinary and grievance matters, performance management and absence issues.
• Assisting with employment contracts, policies and procedures.
• Advising on dismissals, settlement agreements and other contentious employment matters.
• Supporting clients with employment disputes and tribunal matters where required.
• Building strong, long-term relationships with clients and understanding their individual business needs.
• Providing commercially focused solutions and practical legal advice.
• Managing your own caseload effectively and ensuring files are maintained to a high standard.
• Meeting deadlines and maintaining excellent levels of client service.
• Keeping up to date with developments in employment legislation and case law.

About You

• At least 2 years' PQE in employment law, or equivalent experience as a Legal Executive.
• Solid experience advising on a broad range of employment matters.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to provide practical, business-focused advice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and file management abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
