Our client, a Top 50 UK law firm, seeks to recruit a Barrister to join their Employment team in Cambridge, Norwich and Oxford. You'll focus on Employment Tribunal advocacy, handling preliminary and final hearings, drafting, and advisory work representing leading organisations across commercial, health, and education sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert legal advice and representation in contentious employment law cases.
  • Advocate confidently in tribunals, courts, and negotiation settings.
  • Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, opinions, and settlement agreements.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored legal solutions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in private practice to share knowledge and foster an inclusive working environment.
  • Stay abreast of developments in employment law and related fields to ensure the highest quality of service.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Barrister with experience specialising in contentious employment law.
  • Excellent advocacy skills with a proven track record in tribunals and courts.
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation and case law in England and Wales.
  • Experience working within Cambridgeshire, East Anglia, and nearby regions is highly desirable.
