Job summary

Vasto Legal Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Employment Solicitor for a leading Legal 500 firm in Bristol. The role targets 1–4 PQE with a mix of contentious and non-contentious employment work, offering progression and development alongside a supportive team.

You will advise SME to large corporate clients on contracts, policies and management issues, with opportunities in high court litigation and Employment Tribunal matters.

Qualifications

• 1-4 PQE in mixed contentious and non-contentious employment law.
• Experience with both advisory and tribunal matters is preferred.
• High Court litigation experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Advise a varied client base from SMEs to large corporates on employment matters and policies.
• Handle grievances and disciplinary procedures for client organisations.
• Contribute to matters including unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing cases, with tribunal exposure.

Employment Solicitor, Legal 500 firm, Bristol:

We are working closely with an employment specialist law firm based in Bristol, who are looking to hire an Employment Solicitor.

If you are an Employment Lawyer with 1-4 PQE gained from a reputable UK practice, then we would be interested in speaking with you and discussing this opportunity.

You will be working alongside supportive and established Lawyers at the firm – for progression and development within employment law this could be an excellent opportunity for your consideration.

The work will include:

• Advising a varied client base of SME's to large corporate clients and household names on ad hoc employment matters, contracts, policies, management issues etc.
• Grievance and disciplinary matters
• Unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing – opportunity to be involved in High Court litigation and Employment Tribunal.

The department focusses predominantly on corporate advisory matters, with some tribunal work.

The ideal candidate will have 1-4 PQE within mixed contentious and non-contentious employment law. Wide-ranging experience would be well suited and ideally, some experience in High Court litigation would be desired but not essential.

Salary - £65,000 - £80,000 (depending on experience) + bonus + benefits
