Job summary

enable Legal Recruitment Specialists in Birmingham is seeking an Employment Solicitor to join a growing team. The role offers a varied caseload covering contentious and non-contentious employment matters for a diverse client base.

You will advise on employment tribunal claims, draft contracts and policies, and help clients with restructures and HR issues while developing your practice in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years' PQE in employment law.
• Broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
• Advising employers and employees on a range of employment law issues.
• Handling employment tribunal claims, including unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing matters.
• Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, settlement agreements, policies and procedures.
• Supporting clients with restructures, redundancies and changes to terms and conditions.
• Advising on day-to-day HR issues and helping clients manage employment-related risks.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Supporting business development activities and contributing to the continued growth of the employment team.

Are you an Employment Solicitor with 3–6 years' PQE looking for your next career move?

We are working with a law firm in Birmingham looking to recruit an experienced Employment Solicitor to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to work on a varied caseload of employment matters, build strong client relationships and develop their career within a supportive legal environment.

The successful candidate will advise a range of clients on contentious and non-contentious employment matters, providing practical, commercially focused advice and supporting clients through a variety of workplace issues.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
• Advising employers and employees on a range of employment law issues.
• Handling employment tribunal claims, including unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing matters.
• Advising on disciplinary and grievance procedures, performance management and dismissals.
• Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, settlement agreements, policies and procedures.
• Supporting clients with restructures, redundancies and changes to terms and conditions.
• Advising on day-to-day HR issues and helping clients manage employment-related risks.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Supporting business development activities and contributing to the continued growth of the employment team.

About You

We are keen to hear from Employment Solicitors who have:

• 3–6 years' PQE in employment law.
• Experience handling a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities.
• A commercially minded approach and the ability to provide clear, practical advice.
