Job summary

Fedcap UK is seeking an Employer Solutions Consultant to connect jobseekers from disadvantaged backgrounds with meaningful employment. You will engage with local employers, tailor recruitment services, and help candidates prepare for interviews and job starts.

Based on-site in Basingstoke with community outreach and occasional travel to other offices. Salary £30,000–£32,000 with a focus on delivering outcomes for both jobseekers and businesses.

Qualifications

  • Experience in business development, account management, recruitment or sales with a targets-driven track record.
  • Customer-focused service delivery experience.
  • Ability to build rapport, motivate and empower individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an ambassador for Fedcap and the Restart Scheme to promote sustainable employment.
  • Provide employers with tailored recruitment and candidate preparation support.
  • Develop relationships with local employers and create a live vacancy portfolio.
  • Help customers develop confidence, skills and interview readiness for work.
  • Market candidates to employers and identify new opportunities.
  • Deliver against performance targets while maintaining high service quality.
  • Coach groups of candidates to support independent job searching.

At Fedcap UK, our Employer Solutions Consultants play a vital role in supporting people from disadvantaged backgrounds to secure sustainable, meaningful employment. You'll work closely with employers and customers, matching skills, values and opportunities to create life-changing outcomes.

  • Location: On-site in Basingstoke (RG21 4HG), and community outreach for 2-3 days per week. On the remaining days, you'll be based in the office, supporting the wider team. There may also be a requirement to support some of our other offices, either in person or remotely, so candidates must be flexible and willing to travel between locations as required, this is non-negotiable.
  • Salary: Starting salary £30,000 to £32,000
What You'll Be Doing
  • Act as an ambassador for Fedcap and the Restart Scheme, championing the benefits of sustainable employment for local businesses and jobseekers.
  • Provide employers with high-quality, tailored services from recruitment support to candidate preparation and adapting your approach to suit each business.
  • Build strong relationships with local employers and initiatives to develop a portfolio of live vacancies.
  • Support customers to develop their confidence, skills and readiness for work, including preparing them for interviews and job starts.
  • Proactively market candidates to employers and identify new work opportunities.
  • Consistently deliver against performance targets, ensuring excellent service and quality.
  • Coach and mentor small groups of candidates, empowering them to carry out effective job searches independently.
