Job summary

Colbern Limited is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Officer to manage complex ER matters from its Taunton base. Role requires attendance in the office at least two days a week (Wednesday and Thursday) with additional days as required by the business.

The position is hybrid, based at County Hall, Taunton. The successful candidate will handle grievances, disciplinaries, performance issues, sickness, and restructures, with TUPE experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR environment.
• Managing and advising on complex ER matters including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and sickness issues.
• Producing and interpreting analytical data to support any recommendations.
• Producing reports and management information. To provide managers with a range of options with any associated risks identified.
• Experience in TU consultation and negotiation.
• Delivering training or making presentations to management.
• Development and implementation of new policies and procedures.
• Experience of electronic filing systems and Co-Pilot.

Responsibilities
