Job summary

Colbern Limited in Taunton is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Officer to manage complex ER cases across the business. The role is contract, with two office days a week (Wednesday and Thursday) and additional days as required; based at County Hall, Taunton.

You will handle grievances, disciplinaries, performance management, sickness and restructures, with TUPE experience preferred. Experience in an HR environment and delivering training or presentations to management are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in an HR environment.
• Managing and advising on complex people/employee relation matters including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and sickness issues.
• Producing and interpreting analytical data to support any recommendations.
• Producing reports and management information. To provide managers with a range of options with any associated risks identified.
• Experience in TU consultation and negotiation.
• Delivering training or making presentations to management.
• Development and implementation of new policies and procedures.
• Experience of electronic filing systems and Co-Pilot.

Responsibilities

• Manage and advise on complex ER matters including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and sickness issues.
• Produce and interpret analytics to support recommendations.
• Produce reports and MI for managers with risk options identified.
• Lead TU consultation and negotiation.
• Deliver training or presentations to management.
• Develop and implement new HR policies and procedures.
