Job summary

Liverpool Football Club is seeking an experienced Employee Relations professional to provide hands-on support across ER casework and the daily application of People & Culture policies.

You will advise managers on disciplinary, grievance, attendance and performance matters, handle sensitive cases with appropriate escalation, and maintain comprehensive case records to support compliant decision making.

Qualifications

• ER and policy management experience with a customer service focus.
• Proven ability to influence, motivate and support line management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HR policies and employment law.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied Employee Relations caseload, ensuring matters are progressed promptly and in line with Club policy and employment law.
• Provide practical advice to managers on disciplinary, grievance, capability, attendance and other employee matters.
• Handle complex or sensitive cases with escalation to Legal or People Partners as required.
• Maintain accurate case records and data for reporting and governance.
• Support policy reviews, drafting and implementation with clear, compliant guidance.
• Coordinate with Occupational Health and other specialists on wellbeing and absence cases.
