Job summary

Essential Employment seeks an Employee Relations Partner for a hybrid role based in Liverpool. You will manage a personal caseload of ER cases, provide guidance on policies and ensure compliance, while balancing office and remote work.

This temporary, full-time position involves investigations, sickness, discipline, grievances, and data reporting. You will liaise with trade unions and external agencies, conduct job evaluations, and support HR projects to meet organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in handling employee relations cases such as investigations, sickness, discipline and grievance resolutions.
• Ability to administer HR processes (extensions, terminations, honoraria, FOIs/DSARs) within policy.
• Strong advisory skills on employment matters and legal compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage a personal caseload of employee relations cases and projects within timescales.
• Provide advice, guidance and training on employment matters and HR processes.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including trade unions and agencies.
• Maintain accurate case records and produce data analysis and reporting.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyse exit data for feedback.
• Conduct job evaluations, grading reviews and appeals.
• Facilitate meetings, hearings, appeals and Employment Tribunals.
• Keep up-to-date with legal developments and best practice.
