We are seeking two enthusiastic HR professionals to join our Employee Relations team.
We have two fixed-term positions: one for 6 months (full-time) and one for 2 years (part-time at 0.8 FTE).
The role involves managing employee relations casework and consultations to achieve appropriate resolutions, balancing the interests of individuals and the organization. Employee Relations Managers provide interpretive advice to ensure compliance with university employment procedures and legislation. The role requires close collaboration with the HR Business Partner, senior management, and trade unions to support case management of employee relations issues.
Ideal candidates will be passionate about employee relations, with previous experience in a similar role, and up-to-date knowledge of best practices and employment legislation. You should be proactive in progressing case work and a strong team player capable of working across different teams.
You must demonstrate the ability to guide stakeholders through complex and potentially contentious employee relations issues while effectively managing a varied caseload to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Based at our vibrant Highfield campus, you will have access to facilities such as the sports complex, Hartley Library, and Staff Social Centre. We support flexible working arrangements, combining office and home working as needed.
