Job description

CMA HR is assisting a supportive organisation in recruiting an Employee Relations Manager on a permanent basis. The role is primarily remote with occasional travel for team meetings.

The role involves supporting the Employee Relations team by ensuring proactive and timely case management for business leaders.

What will the Employee Relations Manager role involve?
  1. Collaborating with senior managers to prepare and implement the HR Plan, ensuring all elements are delivered on time.
  2. Working within a team to develop and embed a professional, solution-focused service.
  3. Supervising and developing a small team.
  4. Providing sound advice and guidance to leaders on investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, performance issues, and sickness, in line with policies.
  5. Contributing to the development of employment-related policies and procedures.
Suitable Candidate for Employee Relations Manager:
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law, core HR practices, and employment relations case management.
  • CIPD Level 7 qualification is desirable.
  • Ability to work autonomously, reacting promptly to issues to mitigate impact and business risk.
