Job summary

North Bay Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join our People Services team in Leeds. You’ll provide practical HR and ER support to managers, handle a varied caseload, advise on capability and conduct concerns, and help deliver fair, timely outcomes.

You’ll build strong relationships, keep confidential records, and stay up to date with legislation and policies while supporting wider People Services initiatives. Competitive salary discussed at interview.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in employee relations processes
• Good understanding of employment legislation
• Experience advising managers on people matters

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day employee relations support to managers
• Assist with sickness absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance cases
• Advise on capability and conduct concerns
• Support managers through formal and informal ER processes
• Prepare case documentation and correspondence
• Maintain confidential employee records
• Encourage early intervention and informal resolution
• Keep up to date with employment legislation and company policies
• Escalate high-risk or complex cases when needed
• Collaborate with People Services on projects and guidance
