Job summary

North Bay Group in Leeds (LS15) is seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to join our People Services team. You will provide first-line employee relations support to managers, offering practical guidance and helping them manage a range of ER processes with confidence and fairness.

Working closely with managers and colleagues, you'll maintain accurate case documentation, ensure timely completion, and keep up to date with employment legislation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Employee Relations/HR Advisor role.
• Solid understanding of ER processes and employment law.
• Experience supporting managers with people-related matters.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
• Experience in a customer-focused setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day ER advice and guidance to managers.
• Support managers in applying policies and best practice.
• Manage and support a range of ER cases from start to conclusion.
• Prepare case documentation, correspondence, and reports.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
• Promote fair, compliant people management practices.
• Build positive relationships with managers and colleagues across the business.
• Contribute to People Services resources, templates, and guidance materials.
• Support projects to improve the colleague experience.
• Keep up to date with employment legislation and ER best practice.
