Job summary

ABM is seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to provide pragmatic, commercial HR guidance on discipline, grievances, TUPE, and absence management. The role supports line managers and operational leads, with occasional work across London.

You will act as the primary ER contact, ensure compliant processes, log queries for reporting, and help update policies to reflect current legislation. ABM offers strong benefits and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Strong employee relations expertise and ability to advise on discipline, grievances, TUPE and absence management.
• Experience in developing and updating HR policies to comply with legislation.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for managers on ER cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure ER matters are handled fairly and in line with legal and company requirements.
• Log and update ER queries for reporting purposes.
• Work with line manager to update policies in line with current legislation and best practice.
• Prepare employment tribunal responses and data bundles with the legal team to minimise risk.
• Support managers to drive continuous improvement and employee engagement.
• Coach and train managers to improve people management skills.
• Collaborate with HR administration and Payroll to maintain accurate records.
