Job summary

Places for People is seeking an Employee Relations Advisor on a fixed-term part-time basis (20 hours per week) to support a positive colleague experience across the group. You will coach line managers, help deliver change, and provide expertise in ER processes, building trusted relationships with operational managers across Preston and Leeds.

The role requires CIPD qualification (Level 3 or 5) or working towards it, and you must reside within a 60-minute commute of our offices.

Qualifications

• ER experience within HR and people practice.
• CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualification preferred or in progress.
• Must be able to travel to Preston/Leeds monthly within commuting distance.
• Self-motivated, collaborative and customer-focused to support a large group.

Responsibilities

• Coaching and advising line managers, increasing their capability to lead high-performing teams.
• Support the business in the delivery of change activity.
• Provide expertise in key people & ER processes.
• Develop close working relationships with operational managers to become a trusted advisor.
