Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Employee Relations Officer on a permanent basis. You will support managers across the Trust with effective advice on sickness absence and ensure policies are applied with care and consistency.

The role requires a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, and you will work within a team dedicated to health and wellbeing, equality, and inclusion. You will be part of a large Trust delivering NHS services across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in a HR setting with sickness absence management.
• Willingness to undertake training to role.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Equality Act 2010 adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor employee sickness absence, ensuring policy compliance.
• Support managers with sickness absence interventions and paperwork.
• Provide professional advice on sickness absence to managers.
• Liaise with occupational health and wellbeing services as needed.
• Advise on best practices and legal requirements related to sickness absence.
