Job summary

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is recruiting a Senior HR Advisor to join our HR Advisory Team. You will provide first-line HR support to managers and staff, handling a complex employee relations caseload across sickness absence, disciplinary, grievance, and bullying cases.

Based at County Hall with blended working from home, you will support policy development and coach managers to strengthen people management. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Experience of providing HR advice drawing on up-to-date HR best practice and employment legislation.
• Ability to manage a complex employee relations caseload including sickness absence, disciplinary and grievance processes.
• Proactive mindset to develop professional HR practice and policies.

Responsibilities

• Providing HR advisory support to an assigned service.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with partners such as payroll, Occupational Health, Health and Safety.
• Engage with EDI and Recruitment to support HR processes.
• Represent HR on panels to consider ill-health, grievance, performance and disciplinary issues.
• Coach managers to develop their people management skills and confidence in dealing with HR issues.
