Job summary

Emmaus Coventry & Warwickshire is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day running of our homelessness charity in Coventry. You will oversee community life, support services and social enterprises, providing effective leadership to our Community and Enterprise Teams and collaborating with the Director on wider charity development.

The role is permanent, full-time (37.5 hours), on-site, with a starting salary of £35,000 and benefits including pension, EAP, induction and

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience managing or supervising staff.
• Experience of managing challenging behaviour and conflict resolution.
• Flexibility regarding daily operational location (all within Coventry region) and an ability to carry a diverse workload.
• An understanding of professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Oversee community life, support services and social enterprise activity.
• Provide effective leadership and management to the Community and Enterprise Teams.
• Work closely with the Director to support the wider development of the charity.
• Develop relationships with referral partners and establish new partnerships.
